There is a long stretch of road in Denver called Colfax Ave, it splits the city in two. There is one section that has an assortment of old motels with retro signs. Basically, these were skid row housing now as evidence by the dilapidated exteriors and unsavory folks milling about on the periphery.  I could see that they once were stately gems, possibly back in the 60’s when this road was in the heart of the prosperous area Excuse the blurriness on some and car windows on others, I was driving down Colfax when I started to see these motels and quickly turned on the camera, and it wasn’t an area you necessarily wanted to stop in for a clearer photo.
