- Buy a ticket for Museum Mile, cultural gem of 5 museums and 6 historic buildings.
- Stop off at Charleston Visitor center upon arrival, treasure trove of valuable information and history about this charming city. Plus, you can find discounted tours!
- Walk. Charleston is very friendly to your feet, everything is just 20 min walk away. Get out there and get lost in the angelic neighborhoods of the Old South.

- Shop at The Old City Market on North Market Street. 4 blocks of local artisinal crafts housed in several hundred year old brick buildings.
- Tour an estate home, there are several to choose from and learn about the histories of the families that made Charleston so opulent. Try Edmondston-Alston house on East Battery.
- **BONUS** If you can get out of the ‘city’ head towards Kiawah island and seek out the Angel Oak, some say it is over 1500 years old.
