Las Vegas continues to charm me and never getting boring. I admit, 3-4 days are all I can handle of this glitzy, loud, adrenaline pumping city. Along with all Vegas’ do’s we have some don’ts. Here are the top things not to miss out on in Vegas.
- Do NOT take cabs all the time. They are expensive and really add up. Try the Las Vegas Monorail that runs from MGM Grand to the Wynn. At $3 a ride, you can spent more at the slots.
- See the Wynn Encore, take pictures of the architecture and opulence of the place but do NOT mistake yourself for a high roller here or you could possibly lose your house!
- Visit the Wine Angels of Aureole, have a nice meal but do NOT go crazy or your suffer the fate of a $100+ pp bill.
- Do NOT pay full price for a show, 1/2 price tickets are available day of and day before all over the Strip. Find the location in photo below.
- If going to a club, do NOT wait in line, spend a little extra ( or if you are female it’s usually free) and get some VIP passes and bypass the lines.
- Do NOT gamble without a players card. Even if you only do the slots. These are the best way to rated by the casinos and get discounts on rooms and food for current or future visits.
- Do NOT leave Vegas without seeing the new Aria casino and hotel in City Center. You’ll quickly see where the $8B went in building these towering glass sculptures of decadence.
- Eat Vegas style and do NOT deprive yourself of at least 1 top rated restaurant. Craftsteak, Sea Blue, L’Atelier, Olives, Fleur de Lys, just to name a few.
- Do NOT pay $14 for a vodka tonic when you can gamble and get it for free, albiet a little watered down.
- Vegas is expensive, so when you are needing to stick to a budget, do NOT miss all the free attractions. Bellagio Water show, Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand,Fall of Atlantis at Caesar’s Palace, andShow in the Sky Carnivale Celebration at Rio to name a few.
