Vik, Iceland is a small unassuming seaside town of 300 people on the southern coast of Iceland. It’s main claim to fame are it’s black sand beaches and amazing bird colonies. It’s a strong 3.5 hour drive from Reykjavik along Highway 1 but well worth the toil.
