Bring the Pain (Thai Massage)

Thai massage salons in Thailand are as ubiquitios as lady-boy prostitutes in Bangkok and no, they do not only service horney white males on business trips.

So, whats a Thai massage like?

An 80 pound women straddles, twists, turns, and pulls your body until you are literally weak in the knees. She, and it’s always a petite she, a sado-maschoist at heart, will jam, prod, and knuckle your muscles until you cry Uncle. To say the least, a thai massage is not for the faint hearted. And this is only a 30 minute massage.

If you love the pain, then go for a 60 minute massage, which is the same as above but twice as long and loud. A couple Italian ladies were having 60 minute massages next to me and the moans, roar, and whimpers soundly like I can only imagine a ‘red light’ district special room would.

Neddless to say, after the 30 minutes, you walk away feeling refreshed and craving more. Who cares that the teacup sized lady made you weep like a little baby, you want, no, you need more. So, you come back the next night and do it all over again.

Prices are another reason worth coming back. A 30 minute neck, shoulder, back Thai massage is only 200 baht (just under $7) Also, if you want some variety, the massage salons have a potpourri of services to offer like mani/pedis, neck, back massage, sunburn massage, and a 30/60 minute foot massage. Foot reflexology massages are highly recommended.
