You haven’t seen Thailand until you have seen it from a boat. But who can afford to charter a boat? The obvious solution is a daily boat tour. For less than the cost of a mani/pedi stateside you can explore magnificent white sand beaches, snorkel among schools of tiger fish, and sunbath on a deserted islands. Not a bad way to spend the day in the land of smiles.

This is the place where babies are made!

When you happen to be near Krabi town in Southern Thailand, the best tour you can take is the 4 Island tour. For about 600 baht ($20) or 400 ($13) if you negotiate well, you can spend 6 hours on a long boat trapsing the Pacific with stops at, you guessed it, 4 islands(Chicken, Poda, Phranang and Tup Islands). There is also a very special 40 minute rest at the Phranang Island where a certain fertility shrine is nestled into one of it’s caves. Basically, if you want to get knocked up, you come here to pray.

Words can only do so much to describe the tropical artistry which is Thailand.Check out some photos below.

Chicken Island- I'll let you figure out why it's called that.

Poda Island- a stop for lunch

Completly empty island with perfect alabaster beach

Phranang Island (home to fertility shrine!) and last stop of the day
